HYDERABAD: Apart from ministers, several TRS MLAs too are involved in the liquor scam and have collected money from liquor syndicates, the Telugu Desam has alleged.Speaking with reporters here on Sunday, Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) convener E Dayakar Rao alleged that as the TRS MLAs too were collecting money from liquor syndicates, the wine shops in Telangana were exempted from participating in the recent Sakala Janula Samme. “We will expose TRS legislators, along with Congress ministers, who are involved in the liquor scam,” Dayakar Rao said.Meanwhile, at a tele-conference with party leaders, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu too wanted his party leaders to expose the nexus between politicians and liquor syndicates.Dayakar Rao alleged that the TRS had colluded with the Congress and was weakening the Telangana movement. He dared TJAC chairman M Kodandaram to convene a round-table meeting with all political parties, Vimalakka, Gadar and students’ organisations so that the TDP could prove how the TRS colluded with the Congress and also prove the how the TRS pledged the movement for money. “Kodandaram is acting like an agent of Congress and TRS,” Dayakar Rao alleged and criticised Kodandaram’s call to obstruct Naidu’s padayatra in Karimnagar and Warangal next week. “The TDP never made money in the name of Telangana and never hoodwinked people of the region. Naidu is touring the region to solve the problems of the people. If anyone obstructs Naidu’s tour, poor people and farmers will chase the agitators away,” he warned.Another MLA, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, said Kodandaram was acting like a TRS party spokesman.
