TTD Updates Rules For Tirumala Darshan During Navaratri Brahmotsavam
Special daily darshans that are usually provided to certain groups, such as the elderly, differently-abled individuals and parents with infants under one year of age.

If you’re planning to visit Tirumala during the Navaratri Brahmotsavams, which will take place from October 3 to 12, it’s important to be aware of some key announcements made by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. To accommodate the large influx of devotees coming for the Brahmotsavams, TTD has made some changes.

Key Changes and Cancellations:

Due to the anticipated massive influx of devotees during the Brahmotsavams, TTD has implemented several changes to the regular darshan services:

Special Services Cancelled: TTD has decided to cancel several special services, including break darshans, from October 3 (Ankurarpanam) to October 12 (Chakrasnanam). This means that devotees will not have access to these expedited darshan options during this period.

Daily Darshans for Specific Groups: Special daily darshans that are usually provided to certain groups, such as the elderly, differently-abled individuals and parents with infants under one year of age, will also be cancelled. This is a significant change, as these groups typically have reserved slots to avoid long queues and crowd-related difficulties.

VIP Break Darshans: The VIP break darshans, which are usually available to a broader range of VIPs, will be strictly limited to protocol VIPs only during the Brahmotsavams. This measure has been taken to manage the crowd effectively and ensure that general devotees have a better chance of experiencing a satisfactory darshan.

This decision is aimed at ensuring that general devotees have a satisfactory darshan experience during this heavily crowded period. The Brahmotsavams draw massive crowds, with every available space being filled by devotees eager to witness the Lord’s Vahana Sevas.TTD has requested that devotees cooperate with these arrangements and plan their visits accordingly. If you’re planning to visit Tirumala during this time, it’s advisable to take these details into account to avoid any inconvenience.
