Dehradun: A girl was allegedly gangraped by three persons after offering her a drink laced with some intoxicant at Kashipur in Uttarakhand's Udhamsingh Nagar district.
The 20-year-old girl was invited by the son of her landlord to his birthday party where he and his two friends offered her a drink laced with some intoxicant, police said.
As she began to feel the effects of the drink, she returned to her room, they said.
Her landlord's son Prem, aged 23, and his two other relatives Rajendra Saini and Harish followed the girl and allegedly raped her, police said.
The girl lodged an FIR in this regard when she came back to her senses on Monday, they said. Her medical examination had confirmed rape and the three had been arrested, police said. The girl worked in a shoe factory, they said.
