Vikram, Gautam in 'Agni Natchathiram' remake?

Attempts are being made by producer Ramesh (of 'Uthamaputhiran' and 'Osthi' fame) to remake 'Agni Natchathiram', and who else than the sons of Prabhu and Karthik can repeat the magic of their respective fathers.

If source are to be believed, Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu, who is making his acting debut with 'Kumki', will play the role which his father Prabhu played, in the remake of this Mani Ratnam movie.

And Karthik's son Gautham, who is stepping into acting with Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal', will essay the character enacted by Karthik.

Talks are currently on and the project will get a final shape in the coming weeks, after which an official announcement will be made.
