Products such as write-on-flag tie markers come in handy at such a time. You can easily fix the tag on to the cable and present a writable surface or you could wind some masking tape around the cord, leaving a penned up tab of tape for you to write the name of the cord. Third, you should try cable corral, it is sturdy, cheap and it is easy to install and use. Fourth, here comes the saviour–everyone’s favourite–the binder clip, a one-stop solution provider to all your wire management woes. Here’s the last pointer, you could plug an AC-to-USB adapter into the wall and fix several USB cables (with a binder clip, of course!) so that they remain tied up and clean when not in use. So what happens is, every time you need to charge your phone or iPod you could just plug and place it into the basket, and your problems are solved, efficiently, that too. While on the subject of wire management techniques, Abhigyan Bannerjee, a Chennai-based technology blogger says “Use wire management kits which are easily available on ebay and Amazon.
