BANGALORE: A young man climbed to the top of a 24storey building in the city on Sunday to show his support for Baba Ramdev's anticorruption fast.
Sachin Ramachandra Mohite of Belgaum, a student of ITI, climbed the building of Bearys Lakeside Habitat near Sahakaranagar without any precautionary measures or with the help of any equipments. He climbed the building by jumping on the attics and grabbing window grills. This way, he reached the top of the building in 15 minutes. There he hoisted national flag, which he had brought with him, on a pole.The residents of the building had no clue that a young man would attempt to scale it. Shocked to see Mohite climbing the tall building without any safety measures, they informed Kodigehalli police about it. When Mohite reached the terrace of the building, the apartment's security guard nabbed him and brought him down. Meanwhile, the police arrived and told him not to take such risks without informing anyone.
