Deepika Padukone in Kalki 2898 AD
Interestingly, Deepika’s latest role in the upcoming film “Kalki 2898 AD” mirrors her real-life journey. In the film, she plays a character who is also pregnant, carrying a child who might be Kalki. Introduced as SUM-80 or Maa (Amma in Telugu) in the film’s trailer, her character is central to the plot. Amitabh Bachchan’s character Aswatthama vows to protect her child from Kamal Haasan’s character, Supreme Yaskin/Kali’s clutches. The film will also feature Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter determined to bring her back to the Complex, from which she presumably escapes.
