These cricket stars and legends definitely made heads turn at the event with the amazing fashion choices that they had made

Anant Ambani is ready to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12. The Ambani clan is presently celebrating the pre-wedding rituals of the soon-to-be bride and groom. The sangeet ceremony, held on July 5, witnessed the stylish arrival of the who’s who of Bollywood, business personalities and stalwarts of the Indian sports fraternity, including some T20 World Cup winners.

While the silver screen stars were dressed to the nines, the cricketers and their better halves also brought out their fashion A-game to the event. Take a look at some of them:

All eyes were on the T20 World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma after his historic feat at Barbados. He looked modish in a sparkly silver-embellished collared jacket. Abstract stripes ran through the ensemble adding a contemporary touch. A black kurta underneath was enough to seal his traditional grandeur.

Surya Kumar Yadav-Devisha Shetty

The T20 World Cup hero stuck with the classics as he donned a black kurta and similarly shaded trousers. Offering some contrast was the dark green jacket, etched with multiple mirror-work. Devisha wore a black saree-styled lehenga comprising a sweetheart neckline full-sleeved blouse and floor-sweeping lehenga skirt. A pallu-like dupatta boasting diagonal silver sequinned elements was hung casually over her shoulders.

Hardik-Krunal Pandya

The Pandya brothers lit up the venue with their traditional expertise. Hardik leaned on a dual-toned sherwani jacket in black and white hues. Intricate embroidery dominated the costume. A black shirt and trousers locked his suave fashion. Krunal picked out a black Pathani suit, etched with abstract embroidery all over. His wife Pankhuri Sharma adhered to the black colour palette wearing a lehenga set, coupled with an exquisitely floral embroidered cape.

MS Dhoni-Sakshi Singh

MS Dhoni looked dapper in a satin-silk white kurta and matching pyjamas. But the real show-stealer was the bandhgala jacket, deftly crafted with nature-themed embroidery in shades of green, blue, orange and brown. Sakshi was the epitome of grace in an ivory lehenga set featuring a butterfly-shaped tasselled blouse and a scalloped-bordered flared skirt. She teamed her stunning silhouette with an embellished net dupatta.

KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty

KL Rahul spelt brilliance in an all-black avatar at the ceremony. He wore a collared and buttoned kurta, layering it with a matching coat. Silver sequins on the coat added a subtle dazzle. The cricketer completed his ethnic style by slipping into relaxed black trousers. Athiya Shetty draped a silver saree, doused with ample sequins and floral embroidery. The scalloped borders added an edge to her OOTD. An equally ornate plunging neckline blouse sealed her fabulous avatar.

Shreyas Iyer

The cricketer commanded attention in a black shirt and matching trousers that he paired with an ornately decorated jacket. Padded shoulders, full sleeves and high-rise collars added dimension to his look. The young opener completed his suave avatar with a silver neck chain and studs.

Ishan Kishan put on a ruched red co-ord set for the event. The front-open V-neck kurta had baggy sleeves and an easy-breezy fit. Loose-fitted trousers elevated the monotone aesthetics. A silver neck chain and studs were his minimal accessories.
