Aashiq Abu’s upcoming film Rifle Club has been creating buzz since the project was announced. According to reports, the filmmaker just finished shooting it. Rifle Club stars Dileesh Pothan, Anurag Kashyap, Vani Viswanath, and Vincy Aloshious. Following Maayanadhi, this film will reunite Aashiq Abu, Syam Pushkaran, and Dileesh Nair. Rifle Club also marks Anurag Kashyap’s debut in the Malayalam film industry. It is reported that he will be seen portraying the antagonist in the film. Viewers were eagerly waiting for more updates on the film. According to the latest reports, the much-awaited film Rifle Club is expected to release on the festival of Onam. It is also expected that this film will be released along with Mammootty’s Bazooka and Tovino Thomas’s Ajayante Randam Moshanam. Although there is no official update yet on this.
Rifle Club is jointly produced by Aashiq Abu, Vincent Vadakkan, Vishal Vincent, and Tony under the banner of OPM Cinemas. The screenplay of the film is handled by Dileesh Nair, Syam Pushkaran, Sharafu, and Suhas. The upcoming film also stars Baby Jean, Senna Hegde, Nathesh Hegde, Navani, Ramzan Muhammad, Unnimaya, Vijayaraghavan, Vishnu Agasthya, Suresh Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Vineeth Kumar in the supporting roles.
Reports suggest the director is also cranking the camera for Rifle Club’s cinematography. He had previously worked on Lovely, which was directed by Dileesh Karunakaran and starred Matthew Thomas in the lead role.
As per the latest updates, Hanumankind, the Kerala-born rapper, will make his film debut in Aashiq Abu’s Rifle Club. He will portray Anurag Kashyap’s son in the movie.
The makers recently shared his poster with the caption, “Introducing @hanumankind as Bheera #RifleClubMovie, hitting theatres soon!”
