Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to their new bungalow with their daughter Raha as the ongoing construction is near completion. Hindustan Times has exclusively reported that the couple is most probably to celebrate this year’s Diwali in their new home. For a long time, they have been waiting for it to be completed and were constantly keeping check on the construction activity.
Hindustan Times has quoted an insider who mentioned that Alia, Ranbir along with Raha will be moving into their new bungalow in two-three months. “The ongoing work on their bungalow is almost done, with the finishing going on, which should take one month or so. After the work is done and they get a green signal, the couple will move into the place. It is the moment they have been looking forward to,” says a source. The insider adds, “In fact, they will most probably be celebrating Diwali with Raha in the new house this year.”
“The bungalow holds an emotional significance to the family, which is why everyone is so involved in the construction. Ranbir and Alia have made sure they take out time from their busy schedule and check the work status,” says the insider.
It is worth mentioning here that the bungalow originally belonged to Ranbir’s grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj. Late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu inherited the property in 1980.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt has completed the shoot of her next film Jigra. In January, Sanjay Leela Bhansali left all fans in surprise when he announced his next film Love And War with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. The film reunites Bhansali and Kapoor after 17 years and marks the filmmaker’s first film with Kaushal. Bhansali reunites with Bhatt after the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi. The new film was announced on Wednesday, January 24. The film is slated to release on Christmas 2025.
