Anushka Sharma Looks Surprised as Deepika Padukone Kisses Her in Viral Video, Asks 'What Are...'

Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone might not be the best of friends. However, they have not shied away from showing each other support from time to time. One such time was when Anushka’s film NH10 had released. In a video that has resurfaced on X, Deepika was seen participating in what seems to be the success bash of NH10. Deepika was seen posing with Anushka when she suddenly planted a kiss on her cheek.

The move surprised everyone, including Anushka. In the video, Anushka took a step back and wondered what Deepika was upto. “What are you doing?” Anushka asked, seemingly amused by the gesture. Deepika cracked up as well. After the surprise gesture of love, Anushka and Deepika posed for the cameras. Watch the video below:

Although Anushka and Deepika have not been spotted together, they’ve shown each other support on social media. Deepika recently welcomed a baby girl. The actress and her husband Ranveer Singh announced the news on social media. Anushka was one of the many Bollywood stars who congratulated the couple. The mother of two took to her Instagram Stories and shared the couple’s baby announcement along with her sweet message. “Congratulations Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.” She included a heart emoji and a twinkling lights emoji.

On the work front, Anushka has been on a break since 2018. Fans have been waiting for her to make a comeback with her film Chakda Xpress but there has been no clarity on the release date. To top it off, there are rumours that Anushka Sharma has moved to London with Virat Kohli and settling there with her children. This could mean we would see lesser of Anushka.

On the other hand, Deepika was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD. A source previously told News18 that Deepika will be on a maternity break until March next year. “Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas,” the source adds. We had also exclusively reported that Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2 will get on floors in January-February 2025. And next year, she also plans on beginning work on The Intern co-starring Big B.
