The couple has enlisted cricket legends like Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, and Ravindra Jadeja, along with the Lucknow Super Giants team. Sharing a video on her Instagram account, Athiya wrote, “I am really excited to share that Rahul and I are organizing “Cricket for a Cause: To Benefit Vipla Foundation,” a cricket auction featuring memorabilia donated by some of the legendary cricketers of our time. Proceeds from this auction will support Vipla Foundation’s special school for children who are hearing-impaired and intellectually disabled.” She also mentioned that the foundation was started by her nani (maternal grandmother).

Talking about the initiative that is very close to her heart, Athiya said “Vipla Foundation has been a significant part of my childhood. I have spent numerous days after school teaching the children and spending time with them. Through this auction, I hope to continue the legacy of my Nani, who started Vipla Foundation with the intent of serving the needs of children with hearing impairment and intellectual disabilities.”
