Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has completed seven years today. The film, released in 2017, was directed by R S Prasanna. On this day, Ayushmann shared a video recalling the moments from the film. Fans also reacted to it.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Ayushamann Khurrana wrote, “#7YearsOfShubhMangalSaavdhan.” One of the fans wrote, “Love u ayushmann It was such a pleasure working with such a cool.. Dedicated.. Hardworking actor… This film is special.” Another wrote, “Come again to shoot in Rishikesh.” Bhumi Pednekar also reacted and dropped heart emoji.

In a surprising turn of events, Ayushmann Khurrana has walked out of Meghna Gulzar’s film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Reportedly, he has moved out of the project due to date issues. Noted, the film is a crime thriller and is based on the Hyderabad rape case. Well, nothing has been made official but reports were coming in that the shoot was supposed to kickstart by the end of this year.

Mid-day has reported that Ayushmann Khurrana hasn’t been able to fit in dates for Meghna Gulzar’s movie, reportedly titled Daayra, due to a packed schedule in the second half of 2024. The film is supposed to go on floors by the end of the year and will clash with Ayushmann’s US music tour. Also, he has two other cinematic ventures lined up besides Border 2. “The dates are currently being negotiated for all the projects, but Meghna’s movie is not on his list. The production team has been informed, and Gulzar is said to be scouting for a suitable replacement,” it added.

Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film Dream Girl 2, the sequel to his 2019 superhit Dream Girl. It is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and starred Ayushmann Khurrana in dual roles. The rest of the cast included Ananya Pandey, who was the female lead, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav and more. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. The film was released on August 25, 2023. Reportedly, he also has Karan Johar’s spy comedy in his kitty.
