Actors Bhuvan Arora and Poojan Chhabra’s web series Fisaddi are all set to stream on the Amazon MX Player from October 18. Amazon MX Player has also unveiled the trailer of this series on social media. The trailer gives an insight into the lives of 2 brothers Goldie (Bhuvan Arora) and Vimal (Poojan Chhabra) who are studying in the same college. While Goldie is not good in academics, Vimal is brilliant and passes all the examinations with good marks. He is also shown to be good at other activities and interacting with other people. It generates an inferiority complex in Goldie and the situation further deteriorates when Vimal taunts him about his failures. What happens further and will the relation between the brothers ever mend in the future forms the premise of the series Fisaddi. Fisaddi stars an ensemble star cast of actors Rajesh Jais, Gopal Datt, Priyal Mahajan and others in important roles. The trailer has garnered more than 1 million views and counting.
Social media users loved the trailer, with many expressing their eagerness regarding the web series release. One of them mentioned he will surely watch the series because it is set in the University of Allahabad. Another wrote that the series bears resemblances to the story Bade Bhai Sahab, penned by renowned Indian writer Munshi Premchand.
Bhuvan is eagerly anticipating the release of this series. He talked about it in an interview with the IANS website. According to him, “Portraying Goldie has been an incredible journey for me as an actor. The character’s flaws and insecurities make him deeply relatable, and I believe viewers will find pieces of themselves in both Goldie and Vimal.” He said that the relationship of both brothers captures the essence of sibling love, rivalry and the pressure faced by them. According to him, this series will also delve into how they handle the pressure to maintain individuality.
On the work front, Bhuvan last played the role of Karnail Singh in the film Chandu Champion which received positive reviews from the critics. Kabir Khan directed this film headlined by Kartik Aaryan.
