It was a night of royal showdown for the Bridgerton cast at season 3’s special premiere. The much-loved Netflix royal drama has impressed viewers with its first two seasons. The anticipatory third segment will be released in two parts. The first four episodes will air on May 14 while the remaining four will arrive on the OTT platform on June 13. Ahead of its first four-episode premiere, Bridergton celebrities lit up the red carpet on May 13 to celebrate the occasion. But the real show-stealers at the gala ceremony held at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City were Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.
In a video doing the rounds on the internet, Nicola Coughlan was seen sharing the same frame with her co-star Luke Newton. While Coughlan plays the role of Penelope Featherington, Newton essays the character of her love interest Colin Bridgerton. The duo’s on-screen chemistry has been a hit among the audience with fans giving them the nickname “Polin". The two celebrities made sure to sprinkle their fiery chemistry on the red carpet event, much to the excitement of Bridgerton admirers.

Dressed in an off-shoulder white gown with a long train behind, Nicola Coughlan looked every bit of an elite lady in the clip. She teamed up her pretty ensemble with white opera gloves having a tint of red. The colour aptly matched Luke Newton’s red-chequered shirt that he paired with black trousers. The two posed for the cameras and had a short interaction with each other.
Social media users were over the moon after they came across the post. “The red detail on her glove to match his jacket," pointed out one eagle-eyed individual. “Pollinating our hearts," gushed another. “They look so good together," commented a third person.
Bridgerton Season 3’s plot will majorly revolve around the relationship between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Speaking with Deadline, Nicola Coughlan revealed that although she was “intimidated" to shoot intimate scenes at first, she was “super thrilled when (they) filmed them, and even more thrilled when (she) watched them." Luke Newton added that Season 3 will explore the obstacles “Polin’s" will face on their romantic journey.
Other cast members who graced the red carpet were Simone Ashley, Jonathan Bailey, Shonda Rhimes, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh and Claudia Jessie.
