Chaitanya Rao and Yashna Chowdary’s starrer Dear Nanna, set during the COVID-19 pandemic, is all set to enthral viewers on the occasion of Father’s Day with its direct digital streaming debut. After receiving immense love and recognition from the audience, the film is now available on the OTT platform Aha, the first-ever Telugu-only OTT platform. The film beautifully showcases the emotional bond between a father and son, promising a cinematic experience filled with a compelling, loveable, memorable, and emotional story.

The film revolves around a son and father who share a very close bond. The son aspires to be a chef, and his father, who runs a pharmacy, wants his son to take over his pharmacy business, but the son hesitates. Amid the pandemic, the father continues to serve the needy through his pharmacy, ignoring the warnings from his son and wife. His son pleads with him to get vaccinated, but meanwhile, the father gets affected by COVID.

With legendary actor Surya essaying the role of Chaitanya Rao’s father, the film is sure to leave a lasting impact on the audience. Shravan Katikaneni worked as the editor, Gifton Elias composed the film’s entire background score and music, and Anith Madadi cranked the camera. Produced by Rakesh Mahankali under the Black Pepper Cinemas banner, the touching and heartfelt story of the film is one you won’t want to miss.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya Rao catapulted to stardom with his YouTube series 30 Weds 21. The actor since then appeared in films like Parijatha Parvam and Sharathulu Vartisthai. He also played one of the leads in Keeda Coola, a film directed by the national award-winning filmmaker Tharun Bhaskar.
