After declaring mutual admiration for each other's work and giving a surprise live performance to their fans in BRIT Awards 2017, EDM group Chainsmokers and popular British band Coldplay declared a collaboration recently. The collaboration song is out now and it carries the strength both Chainsmokers and Coldplay are known for- mesmerising their listeners.
Combining soulful music with some EDM trance, the song has been titled Something Just Like This. It’s from the Chainsmokers’ debut LP, Memories...Do Not Open. Chris Martin has sung the song, making it another one from Martin's beautiful vocal album.
The song has a soul and Chainsmoker's music just gives it a peppy touch that stays with you after the song has finished. While the lyrical video is out we are waiting for the full video because you know to expect something different visually when Coldplay is involved.
