Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in April brought together all members of the iconic British girl group Spice Girls, including Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell, for a memorable night. Earlier, Victoria and her husband David Beckham had proudly shared footage of the ladies performing their hit songs. Now, the fans of the girl group are in for a treat as David’s son, Cruz Beckham shared another exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from the group’s recent reunion.
Taking to Instagram, the 19-year-old posted a video of the ladies singing their 1996 track Mama, while Cruz himself played the guitar alongside them on stage. Interestingly, the reunion became their first performance together since 2012.
Meanwhile, the guest list featured Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Francois-Henri Pinault, Jason Statham, and Gordon Ramsay with his wife Tana Ramsay. Other than Cruz, Victoria and David’s other children, including Brooklyn, Romeo and Harper were also in attendance. While Beckham’s youngest son played guitar, Victoria sang along with her former group. The video captures all the ladies together singing, “Mama, I love you, Mama, I care, Mama, I love you, Mama, my friend. Later, Mel B lightens the mood, as she jokingly asks, “Are we in tune? I’m not sure we are.” However, the crowd applauded for the group, before they shared a group hug. Cruz, who knows he’s just made countless Spice Girls fans’ dreams come true, simply wrote, “You’re welcome….”

During a recent interview on SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine with James Corden, David Beckham opened up about how he developed feelings for Spice Girls member Victoria. He shared, “I didn’t know what she was like as a person. I just actually fancied her like most people did at that time and I didn’t know who I was marrying, who I was going to be with for the rest of my life. I didn’t realize what a strong woman she was and that is what really attracted me to her more than anything.”
The athlete further recalled the moment he knew he would marry Victoria after watching her in the Say You’ll Be There music video and explained, “It’s my favorite because it was the song that was on the TV when I sat in my room with Gary Neville and it came on the tele and that was when I turned around to Gary and said, ‘I’m gonna marry that one in the short black dress’.”
Meanwhile, it’s been two years since Cruz Beckham announced his entry into the music industry after signing a management deal. Since then, he has been collaborating with top artists, musicians and producers and according to The Sun, the 19-year-old is expected to make his grand debut this year.
