The unofficial year of super-heroes films is starting with 'Deadpool' today. Eighth installment in the 'X-Men' series, the film follows Wade Wilson who, after being subjected to an experiment that leaves him with new abilities, hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. You saw him go after Wolverine in 'Wolverine: The Origin', now see him go nasty and dig sly humour at the people who destroyed is life.
The film has been directed by Tim Miller and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, TJ Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, and Leslie Uggams. The producers of the film have confirmed potential sequels in the works that could serve as a crossover with 'Gambit' and the 'X-Men' franchise. An important and full of swag character from the Marvel's X-Men Universe, it would be interesting to see the first 'R' rated super-hero film.
The trailers, teasers and sneak peek promised Ryan Reynolds in his best form as 'Deadpool'. Will the film be able to the expectations raised by the promos? Will Ryan's much shown swag be as entertaining as other Marvel movies? How important will Deadpool be in entire Marvel universe?
