In the last few months, actor Darshan has made several headlines for his involvement in the Renukaswamy murder case. As per the new reports on the case, the Kannada actor’s brother, filmmaker Dinakar Thoogudeepa, has finally broken his silence on the matter. Darshan has been in judicial custody since June 11.
As per reports, Dinakar Thoogudeepa recently attended an event for his latest film, which is titled Royal. So, during the promotional event, the filmmaker talked about his brother’s case to the media and why he took so long to respond.
Dinakar stated, “Thank you to all those who have supported us in our difficult times and all those who have stood behind us.” Speaking further, he added, “May this be your love and encouragement. We are grateful for your love.”
Mentioning the current situation, he said that it is “not good” at the moment. He then thanked all the celebrities for their continued support, during such difficult times. He added it is the love of Darshan’s fans which gave him such incredible popularity. “May your love for Darshan and his family always remain the same, as long as your love is there, no one can do anything to D Boss,” stated Dinakar. His remarks came as a ray of happiness for Darshan’s fans, who are hoping and praying for his release, continuously.
Dinakar Thoogudeepa is returning to direction with his upcoming film Royal, which is expected to be released on November 22. The cast of the film includes Chaya Singh, Achyuth Kumar, Rangayana Raghu, Pramod Shetty, Raghu Mukherjee, Sanjana Anand and many others. Royal is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur while Charan Raj is handling the music and Sanket Mys is doing the cinematography. Jani is roped in for choreography.
