Director Gokul Clears The Confusion After Silambarasam Exits Corona Kumar

The much-anticipated movie Corona Kumar has been grabbing headlines for a long time. In 2021, it was announced that Tamil actor Silambarasan TR, also known as STR or Simbu, will be acting in the film Corona Kumar, directed by Gokul. Ishari K. Ganesh is said to be producing the film under the banner of Vels Film International.

As per the report, the film did not take off during that time due to the Corona pandemic. Later, a case was filed against Silambarasan TR on behalf of the producer, alleging that Simbu did not return the advance money given for this film.

Now, Silambarasan TR has concluded and said that he will never act in Corona Kumar. A few days ago, it was reported that Vishnu Vishal would be acting in his place. But Gokul, the director, said that this is wrong.

According to him, Silambarasan TR can’t drop a project like that and whether the film Corona Kumar will be released and who will be its hero is up to the decision of the film production company, Vels Film International.

Silambarasan TR is one of the most prominent actors currently present in the industry. He is popularly known for his performances in films, including Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Maanaadu. As per sources, STR may return to the director’s chair for his 50th film soon.

Meanwhile, as per the speculations, it is being said that Vishnu Vishal has now been finalised as a lead actor for the upcoming film, as STR is not doing any work with Vels International.

As per reports, Vishnu Vishal is currently shooting for his tentatively titled film VV21, which is directed by Ramkumar.

It is also being said that the makers may change the title of the film and will soon figure out the complete working process. Vijay Sethupathi is also said to be featured in the upcoming comedy-drama and will be seen in a crucial role, while actress Aditi Shankar has been reportedly signed in as the lead actress for the project. However, there has been no official statement issued by the makers related to any of the details related to Corona Kumar.
