Renowned director, Meccartin is all set to mark his debut as an actor and showcase his acting mettle in his upcoming film Pantham. The shoot for the film began in Vazhikkadavu in 2022. The film has been making a buzz ever since it was first announced and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film. Now, to increase the hype of the film, the makers have released the teaser of the film which has been getting a lot of appreciation.
Recently, the makers of Pantham dropped the teaser on YouTube. From the teaser, it can be understood that it will be a hard-hitting film which will shed light on the burning social issues with a focus on caste-based discrimination. It shows how some people continue to practice the age-old customs which has been abolished in the country, but is deeply rooted in the mindset of a few.
The teaser has been gaining praise a lot. A co-star of the film wrote, “Very happy and proud to be a part of such a big movie that will go down in history and to be featured in the trailer itself. Thank you all." Another commented, “If the trailer looks like this, what will the movie be like?" One more remarked, “I wish for all the films to be as great as this one. Waiting!" Pantham is produced by Rooma VS & Althaf PT under the banner of Vellithira Productions & Rooma Film Factory. It is directed by Aju Ajeesh who is famed for his short film Kaakka. It stars debutante actors like Meccartin, Vishnu Mukundan, Neethu Maya, Jonivas, Sreela Nalledam, Shibukuttan, Vyshnavi Kalyani, Sam Krishna and others in significant roles. The music and background score is being handled by Abin Sagar.
Pantham will mark Meccartin’s first movie as a lead actor and there is a huge level of excitement among his fans and film buffs. Meccartin is known for belting out several superhits like Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan, Superman, Punjabi House and Thenkasipattanam.
