The makers of ‘Chehre’ officially announced the release date of the much-awaited Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi starrer. A new poster of the film was released recently to kickstart the promotions. However, the netizens could not help but notice how actress Rhea Chakraborty was completely missing from the poster and the announcements. Instead, the fans got to see Krystle D’Souza on the poster, leaving everyone curious whether she has replaced Rhea.
The film was delayed due to COVID-19 lockdown but is ready to screen in theatres from April 30. In the dark themed poster, one can see a string of actors including Emraan and Big B. However, Rhea who had revealed her look from this film two years ago, is not mentioned anywhere. She was also not tagged on social media posts along with the rest of the team members. This has convinced Twitterati that she has been dropped from the film. Or at least from the promotions!

Rhea was surrounded by controversies last year after the demise of late actor and her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress was in the negative limelight for months during the case. There were also reports of several filmmakers dropping her from the projects.
However, ‘Chehre’ director Rumi Jafry maintained that he has been a close friend of Rhea and Sushant. He had also revealed his plans of collaborating with the duo for a romantic movie. After Sushant’s demise, the filmmaker had extended support to Rhea and was affirmative about her comeback in the movies in the future.
Now, the sudden disappearance of Rhea from the ‘Chehre’ announcement has left fans curious and some of them are even voicing it on social media. Speaking of the flick, it also stars Siddhanth Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, Annu Kapoor amongst others. The official announcement on Rhea Chakraborty’s role in the same is awaited.
