Netflix’s latest miniseries, Baby Reindeer, is trending on the streaming platform, considering the amount of thrill and suspense it brings through the stalking story. It premiered on April 11 and quickly became one of the most talked-about TV shows this year. Baby Reindeer is based on the Scottish comedian Richard Gadd’s real-life experience with a stalker in his 20s. While it began as a one-man stage show at the Edinburgh Fringe, it now has a fictional version featuring Gadd as Donny Dunn, who is stalked by a woman named Martha (played by Jessica Gunning).
Said to be a true story, Baby Reindeer sheds light on the stalking and harassment that Gadd endured at the hands of the woman for years. Over four and a half years, she sent him more than 40,000 emails, 350 hours of voicemails, over 700 tweets, 46 Facebook messages and more than 100 letters, along with a lot of gifts.
Fiona Harvey to take legal action?
While the show has stirred a lot of conversation online, it has drawn attention towards the alleged stalker, Fiona Harvey. Denying the claims made in the Netflix show and the allegations of being convicted, Harvey is now considering legal action against the streaming giant, Gadd and producer Clerkenwell Films, reports Deadline. “Nobody ever approached me for any comment on the accuracy of Baby Reindeer or the very serious and damaging allegation that I am a convicted criminal, with a serious criminal record, who has spent time in prison,” she said in a statement.
Harvey also said that her legal team would make a further statement and set out the next steps to deal with everything that has displayed a “dishonest and false” picture of hers in Baby Reindeer and in the media.
Fiona Harvey shares her ‘side’ of the story
Ever since the show started trending globally, Harvey, who claims to be a lawyer, has said that Richard Gadd was the one who was after her. During her interview with Piers Morgan, she alleged, “He asked me to sleep with him. He said, ‘Would I like my curtains fixed and I laughed, and he said, ‘That’s a euphemism. Do you want me to come home with you?’ I said, ‘I’ve got a boyfriend.’ I gave him the brush-off. I don’t fancy little boys without jobs.”

Reacting to the claims of sending several emails and voicemails, Harvey called them “wholly inaccurate.” She even went on to claim that Gadd has “extreme psychiatric problems.”
