Ed Sheeran is all set to be a part of much-awaited Game of Thrones Season 7. The makers of the popular HBO series have confirmed Sheeran's presence in one of the episodes, that has already been completed earlier this year.
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss announced the big news in Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. The producers said the singer is a favorite of star Maisie Williams aka Arya Stark. They had been trying to get him onboard for years to surprise Maisie and this year they finally did it.
Past seasons of GoT have featured cameos by artists such as Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Will Champion from Coldplay, Sigur Rós, and Mastodon.
Well, now we have one more reason to wait for July 16 when the season premieres on HBO.
