Looks like Gigi Hadid is fully embracing the spooky season. The supermodel recently offered fans a rare glimpse of her life with her 4-year-old daughter, Khai, by sharing a sweet Halloween-inspired moment on Instagram. In the photo shared on her Instagram Stories, Hadid captured Khai from above as she sat at a table. The photo shows Khai dressed in Halloween-themed pajamas and surrounded by pumpkins and gourds. She was fully immersed in creating her own “potion,” mixing together various ingredients. Celebrating the spirit of Halloween with her daughter’s creative pastime, Hadid playfully captioned the post, “Weekend. Potion-o’ clock.”
The sweet mother-daughter bonding moment comes less than a month after Hadid celebrated Khai’s 4th birthday. She co-parents her daughter with ex Zayn Malik.
Malik posted a touching tribute for Khai’s birthday last month, sharing a picture of the two at the beach. In the image, he is seen holding her in his arms, both gazing out at the ocean with their backs to the camera. Along with the photo, he expressed his deep love for Khai, calling her “the most important person in his life.”
“I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter.. grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are. Four years ago today my life changed forever and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you,” he added.
Hadid also gave fans a glimpse into Khai’s 4th birthday celebration with a series of photos on Instagram, showing the special moments from her daughter’s big day. One standout image featured the mother-daughter duo next to a Baby Yoda-themed cake with featured a message: “May the FOURce be with you.”
Other snapshots showed the fun-filled festivities, including balloon arches, an inflatable slide and a creative crafting table. Khai was seen decorating her ice cream with sprinkles and enjoying the party’s theme which featured several Baby Yoda elements. The birthday girl also enjoyed a horse ride with the horse’s mane and tail sporting rainbow colours.
Reportedly, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s relationship had its ups and downs since they started dating in 2015. After their first breakup in 2018, they got back together to split again in 2019. By early 2020, they reunited once more, and shortly after, they announced they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Khai, was born in September 2020.
