Govinda Ends 8-Year Feud With Krushna Abhishek, Attends Latter's Sister Arti Singh's Wedding | Watch

Govinda has taken the internet by surprise as he made a grand entry at his niece Arti Singh’s wedding in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Fans were unsure about Govinda attending Arti’s wedding especially after he skipped the TV star’s Haldi, Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies. Govinda has not been on talking terms with his nephew Krushna Abhishek, who is Arti’s elder brother. However, it seems Govinda has decided to bury the hatchet.

In a video, shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Govinda is seen all smiles as he makes a grand entry to Arti’s wedding. He also greets the paparazzi stationed outside the wedding venue with folded hands.

Arti and her fiance Dipak Chauhan hosted a grand Sangeet ceremony last night and several TV celebrities including Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain, Mahira Sharma, Yuvika Chaudhary and Bharti Singh among others, attended the function. Multiple videos from the ceremony have made their way to social media, and fans couldn’t stop drooling over Arti’s pre-wedding festivities. In a video, shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Arti can be seen cutting a massive three tier cake with Dipak. In another video, Arti, her actor-brother Krushna Abhishek and sister-in-law Kashmera Shah are seen distributing sweets to the paps and greeting them with folded hands.

However, Arti’s uncle and actor, Govinda, skipped the ceremony. In her recent interview, Arti had said that Govinda would be attending her wedding. “This wedding is going to be full of love because the entire family will come under one roof. They all will be there to bless me. Govinda mama, is very happy seeing me happy. I just know that he’s (Govinda) coming to give his blessings to me and I’m very happy about it. He’s was very happy. He’s my Chi Chi mama he was very happy,” Arti told Times of India.com.

Why did Govinda and Krushna Abhishek fight?

Govinda and Krushna had a major fallout in 2016 when the former was making his comeback with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jassos and doing some promotional appearances on TV shows. He was also seen on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ along with his wife Sunita and daughter Tina instead of the rival ‘Comedy Nights Live’, which was hosted by Krushna.

Govinda didn’t turn up on Krushna’s show because he was upset with the latter’s “Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai (I have kept Govinda as my uncle)” comment that Krushna had made on his show. Things became worse after Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, made a controversial tweet about “people who dance for money”. Govinda’s wife Sunita felt that Kashmera was taking a jibe at her actor-husband.
