Hope Necessary Action Is Taken: Kasthuri Shankar On Ex-AIADMK Leader's Remarks Against Trisha Krishnan

Post Mansoor Ali Khan controversy, popular actress Trisha Krishnan has once again been subjected to defamation by former AIADMK politician AV Raju. The politician, in a recent press meeting, spewed scandalous venoms against the actress defaming her by spreading false information about her alleged links with the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi Palaniswami. While many celebrities have come out in support of the actress, Kasthuri Shankar also stood by her and criticised the politician for his shameful comments.

Kasthuri Shankar lashed out at AIADMK politician AV Raju saying that no one should be allowed to make such slanderous remarks against others. The actress also expressed hope that the necessary action will be taken against the politician by the concerned individuals.

AV Raju, who was recently ousted from the party, claimed that Trisha was taken to a resort at the behest of the former CM in exchange for a specific sum of money. Making a huge claim, the politician also said that the actor Karunas handles the arrangements of the same further alleging that all actresses are involved in such activities for their survival.

Following the remarks by AV Raju, the Leo actress shared a post on X to call out the politician as she wrote, “It’s disgusting to repeatedly see low lives and despicable human beings who will stoop down to any level to gain attention. Rest assured, necessary and severe action will be taken. Anything that needs to be said and done henceforth will be from my legal department (sic).”

Not long ago, another controversy erupted after the release of the film Leo. The actor, Mansoor Ali Khan, made derogatory remarks against Trisha saying that he missed out on an opportunity to do a bedroom scene with the actress. The actor left everyone stunned with his statement in which he said that he hoped to have some kind of sexual scene in the film with Trisha.

This led many well-known personalities in the film industry to come out and condemn the demeaning remarks by the actor. Later, Mansoor apologised to the actress owing to the issue that it had become. However, he also filed a defamation case against the actress which was dismissed by the court.
