The arrival of new emotions brings a mixture of reactions from Riley's already existing emotional team. Outside her mind in real life, it creates the chaos and turmoil of adolescence for her.

Pixar’s latest film, Inside Out 2, has just released its final trailer. It takes viewers back into the mind of Riley, who is now 13. As a teenager, Riley’s inner feelings and emotions undergo significant changes. Emotions of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, which were also a part of the previous film, are now joined by new feelings like Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment in this one. The trailer offers a glimpse into Riley’s behavioural changes and the complexities she faces as she grows up. Promoted as a ‘feel everything movie,’ Inside Out 2 is scheduled to release in the theatres on June 14.

The 90-second trailer reintroduces us to Riley and her emotional headquarters. Riley’s mind is seen undergoing renovations to accommodate her new emotions. The original cast, including Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust, return to reprise their roles. They are also joined by newcomers Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Adele Exarchopoulos as Ennui and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment. The arrival of these new emotions bring a mixture of reactions from Riley’s already existing emotional team. Outside her mind in real life, it creates the chaos and turmoil of adolescence for her.

According to the trailer, the film continues to follow Riley through her early teen years. It also hints at several new locations within Riley’s mind that the sequel will explore.

One of the scenes in the trailer shows Riley sitting for dinner with her parents after returning from camp. When her mother asks her about it, Riley says, “It was good" and thinks about the storm of emotions inside her head.

The trailer also shows how Riley manages her emotions. Unlike the previous film, where emotions were literally bottled up, this time, Riley faces internal struggles as she keeps her emotions hidden from the outside world.

Additionally, the trailer also has a brief of the emotion of Nostalgia. Nostalgia is shown as an old lady.
