Mumbai: Indian Television star Karan Mehra and his wife, Nisha Rawal were blessed with a baby boy on Wednesday night. The excited Karan announced his baby's birth via Instagram. He posted an aww-dorable picture of his son's tiny feet along with a caption that read, "The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts, this is something that cannot be expressed in just words. We are ready for this new journey with our little blessing that has arrived in the form of a beautiful baby boy."

Karan and Nisha, who dated each other for six years, got married five years ago. The husband had announced Nisha's pregnancy through social media earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Nisha expressed gratitude towards her friends and family members for their support and love. She posted a baby-bump-picture of herself and wrote, "This one's for all who have shown me unconditional love during this sensitive journey."

The happy couple started their careers as models.They have together appeared on the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5.

Karan Mehra became a household name after featuring as Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, opposite Hina Khan. He quit the show last year citing health issues. He was last seen in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 10.

Nisha was seen in the television show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. She has also been a part of Sonu Nigam's hit album Chanda Ki Doli, which was released in 2005.
