Malaika Arora Shares Cryptic Note About 'Something To Look Forward To' Amid Arjun Kapoor Breakup Rumours
Malaika Arora's cryptic post comes at a time when her breakup rumours with Arjun Kapoor have been making headlines.

Malaika Arora has once again left netizens confused by sharing a cryptic post on her Instagram stories. On Friday, the Bollywood diva shared a post which read, “There’s always something to look forward to, something to be grateful for, something to be proud of, something to hold on to, something to believe in, something to love, something to live for there is so much in life.”

Malaika Arora’s cryptic post comes at a time when her breakup rumours with Arjun Kapoor have been making headlines. Arora skipped Kapoor’s birthday celebration on June 26. Several inside videos from the birthday bash went viral on social media but had no sign of Malaika in attendance. While Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor were seen cheering for the birthday boy, Malaika was nowhere to be seen. Malaika did not even wish Arjun on Instagram, which left everyone wondering if they were no longer together.

Arjun and Malaika’s breakup rumours first made headlines earlier this year after a source informed Pinkvilla that their relationship has “run its course.” “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” the source claimed.

However, back then, Malaika’s manager had dismissed breakup reports calling them “rumours”.

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing rumours surrounding her “on-off relationship” with Arjun, Malaika spoke about how the internet can be a very toxic space.  “I have somehow built a mechanism — or shield, I would say — around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore,” Malaika told Hello magazine. “I’ve insulated myself from it. Whether it’s people, a work environment, social media or trolls. The minute I feel that energy, I recoil instantly. It’s something I’ve learned to do over time. It would get to me earlier and I would lose sleep over it. I’d be lying if I said things don’t affect me at all — I’m human too and so I will cry, break down and have all the emotions associated with being trolled. But you’ll never see that in public,” she added.
