Mannara Chopra has shared an adorable post to send birthday wishes to her cousin, Priyanka Chopra. On Thursday afternoon, the Bigg Boss 17 fame took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of throwback pictures with PeeCee. In the first photo, Mannara was seen planting a kiss on her sister’s cheeks. Another photo featured Mannara and her mother posing with Priyanka on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil. One of the clicks was also from Mannara’s birthday bash earlier this year when Nick Jonas had also joined the celebration.
In the caption of her post, Mannara penned down a heartwarming note for Priyanka and called her “darling sister”. “Happy birthday to my darling sister! A sister is a blessing from God,” she wrote and then added, “Happy birthday, Mimi Didi! Mom always says you’re her first daughter, and we feel the same. Your love and support in Mitali’s and my life mean the world to us. Thanks for always teaching us that family is everything. Cheers to all our wonderful memories, beautiful trips, and many more to come! I can fly high because I know if I ever fall or make a mistake, you’ll be there to catch me. Mannara is the cousin of Bollywood divas Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra. Her mother, who is a jewellery designer by profession, is the sister of Parineeti and Priyanka’s fathers. Priyanka was often seen cheering for Mannara when the latter was in Bigg Boss 17 earlier this year.
Previously, Mannara also opened up about Priyanka rooting for her ahead of the Bigg Boss finale when she exclusively told News18 Showsha, “Thank you, PeeCee Didi, for supporting me. Aapne mujhe support kara, iska matlab maine kahi na kahi apni personality se apni respect bhi rakhi show mein, aur apni family ki bhi. (Since you supported me, it feels like I’ve kept my self-respect intact with my personality.) And loads of love to Malti.”
Mannara Chopra was the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 17. The show was won by Munawar Faruqui. After her Bigg Boss stint, Mannara was also seen in a music video titled Saanware with Abhishek Kumar.
