Rakshak made headlines in 2021 after his serious altercation with transgender people on the road. On September 7, 202 he was attacked by four or five transgenders in Bengaluru and was gravely injured. In an interview with Colors, Rakshak revealed back then that he was returning from his gym session near Hebbal flyover. “Since there was a lot of traffic, I drove down below the flyover when the transgenders tried to stop my vehicle even as my two-wheeler was on the move. I lost control and fell off before hitting the divider.” Rakshak said that he was tensed and fled from the spot without taking his vehicle as he felt that life was more precious than the two-wheeler.
