Sampath Ram's Fierce Look As Chandudu Revealed In Kannappa Poster

Telugu star Vishnu Manchu is gearing up for the highly- anticipated and high-octane release titled Kannappa. While his last movie Ginna, released in 2022, had an underwhelming performance at the box office, his fans have raised their expectations of Kannappa. Now, banking on this eagerness, the makers have surprised the viewers once again and have dropped the character poster of actor Sampath Ram who is playing a pivotal role in the upcoming film.

In Kannappa Sampath is playing the role of Chandudu, the Bhillulu clan chief who brings unparalleled strength and boldness to the forests. In the poster, he is seen leading a gang holding an axe in his hand. While in the background, a group of men is seen following him, carrying axes and flags in their hands. The poster was released by 24 Frames Factory on their official Twitter page. “Thrilled to have #Sampath on board as the indomitable #Chandudu, the #Bhillulu clan chief who brings unparalleled strength and boldness to the forests,” reads the caption. Earlier on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the makers dropped the first look of the film, which managed to impress the viewers. The first look poster of the film features Vishnu Manchu’s character, who plays the lead role in the film. In the poster, he is seen emerging from a cascading waterfall with a bow and an arrow in his hand and an intense expression on his face.

The poster suggests that the film will feature action sequences. It was also shared by 24 Frames Factory. The tweet reads, “This Mahashivaratri, dive into the tale of Shiva’s greatest devotee as we unveil the first look of Kannappa. Experience the journey of the bravest warrior and the biggest devotee as this epic tale comes to life.”

Kannappa is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language historical film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. It is based on the story of Kannappa, a devotee of the Hindu god Shiva.

The film stars its screenwriter Vishnu Manchu in the titular role alongside Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (his Telugu debut), and Kajal Aggarwal in guest appearances. While the film also stars Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, and Madhoo in supporting roles.
