Sanjana Sanghi is making heads turn, and how. Apart from being a stellar actor, she is also a huge advocate of educational reform, championing initiatives that aim to improve access to quality education. Being entrusted with representing the largest youth population in the world is a testament to the deep commitment Sanjana has shown to their needs and concerns. She was also seen at the prestigious UN General Assembly in New York.
Taking to her social media, the young star wrote, “Experiencing the corridors of the @unitednations Head Quarters in New York, standing at the General Assembly, where quite literally – history is made. And receiving the opportunity to experience the magic of action and collaboration for a better tomorrow, as India’s Youth Champion for the @undp – have been moments of such gratitude and learning.Thank you @undpinindia .”

Sanjana’s journey with humanitarian endeavours has involved many relentless successful campaigns and programs, that focus on empowerment through increasing access to education and focusing on the needs of India’s shining youth. This journey that began back in 2014 during her time at Delhi university, much before her debut in Dil Bechara, today, has led her to being entrusted with the honor of being Youth Champion for UNDP India.
On the work front, Sanjana Sanghi was last seen in Dhak Dhak, which narrates the journey of four women from different walks of life who come together for an extraordinary journey filled with emotions, adventures, and self-discovery as they embark on a biking trip.
After tasting success in Indian cinema, the young actor has set her eyes to go international. Earlier in an exclusive conversation with News18, Sanghi shared that she wants to explore films on the global stage. “I’ve been reading a few things about auditioning for some roles. Thanks to OTT, filmmakers across the globe have been able to see my work. Our work is so easily accessible and cultural also it isn’t alienating anymore. I have been getting calls and interests from overseas. I believe Dil Bechara, which was an official remake of The Fault In Our Stars, did make people notice and I believe Dhak Dhak and Kadak Singh have just expedited that process,” she said.
