Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her first Karva Chauth with husband Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday, sharing playful moments from the day with her fans. The Heeramandi actress not only posted pictures of herself dressed in bridal red earlier, but she also shared a humorous reel later, where she candidly expressed her hunger while observing the traditional fast.
In the video shared on her Instagram, Sonakshi is seen wearing a light pink embroidered outfit, adorned with a traditional floral gajra on her head. Zaheer, in a mustard yellow top, is seen seated beside her, focused on his phone. The clip starts with Sonakshi playfully placing the gajra on her head and calling Zaheer ‘Jaan.’ When Zaheer looks up and asks, “What are you doing yaar?”, Sonakshi replies, “I am very hungry. I don’t know what to do,” followed by their shared laughter.
She then asks Zaheer, “You are not hungry?” to which Zaheer admits, “Very.” Sonakshi playfully questions, “Why are you hungry?” Zaheer responds, “Because same.” When Sonakshi teases, “Because I kept Karwa Chauth. Why did you keep Karwa Chauth?”, Zaheer jokes, “Because if I had eaten in front of you, you would have killed me.” The lighthearted exchange ends with Sonakshi playfully scolding Zaheer, resulting in more laughter.
