Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot. While the couple will take the wedding vows on June 23, their pre-wedding functions have already begun. Recently, the couple hosted an intimate Mehendi ceremony which was attended by their family members and close friends. A new picture from the ceremony has surfaced online in which Sonakshi and Zaheer are seen posing with their friends.
In this latest photo, Sonakshi Sinha is all smiles as she stands close to her groom-to-be, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple is seen taking a selfie with their friends. Sonakshi looks gorgeous in a red ethnic wear, while Zaheer looks dapper in a floral print kurta with a low neckline. Check it out here:

Previously, Zaheer’s sister Sanam Ratansi also shared a photo from Sonakshi’s Mehndi ceremony. In the pic, Sonakshi held Zaheer close as they posed with their families and close friends.
Shatrughan also, in a recent interview, addressed the rumours surrounding Sonakshi’s wedding and called out those who are spreading “lies” against his family. “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of,” Shatrughan told Times Now.com/Zoom. “She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
Meanwhile, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as it will see some of the biggest names in Bollywood gracing their big day to shower blessings and love on the couple. A source close to the couple told us that actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma are likely to attend the wedding. Besides this, Salman Khan has also been sent an invitation. Sonakshi has also invited her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-stars including Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal Mehta among others.
