Shravan Kumar is one of the popular faces of the Telugu entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the Telugu television industry with the TV serial Attarintiki Daredi. Since then he never looked back and worked in popular serials like Kasturi Pallakilo Pellikuthuru, to name a few. He was curranty seen in the series Maguva O Maguva broadcasted on Star Maa. In the serial, Shravan Kumar plays the role of Chanti Babu and has received immense appreciation for the character. Recently, the actor has bagged the Star Maa Outstanding Performer of the Year 2024 award at the Star Maa Awards for his outstanding performance.
Maguva O Maguva is a Telugu-language romantic drama television series that airs from 19 February 2024 onwards on Star Maa and streams digitally on HotStar. It stars Khruthika Umashankar as Sindhura and Mandava Kumar as Karthikeya in lead roles. Along with Netra Jadhav as Chanchalamma, Sindhura’s aunt; Shravan Kumar as Chanti Babu; Sobhan Garu as Sindhura’s father; and Surabhi Lalitha as Sindhura’s mother in other pivotal roles. The series aired from Monday to Saturday at 6.30 PM.
Shravan Kumar, who mainly works in the Telugu TV series, was born in Nidhanawada Village, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, India and grew up in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
He did his schooling in Bangalore and then did his intermediate at Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Vijayawada. Later, he finished his engineering at Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore.
After finishing his studies, Shravan did an acting course at the Satyanand Acting Institute in Vishakapatnam. He then returned to Bangalore and attended auditions for roles in movies and serials, but he didn’t get any offers.
Shravan then moved to Hyderabad and attended auditions for roles in movies and serials. During this time, he then worked as an assistant director for Oka Chinna Viramam. At the same time, he attended ETV auditions and was selected for the Attarintiki Daredi serial.
According to reports, Shravan became interested in acting with the encouragement of his parents, Father: Peddi Reddy and Mother: Lakshmi Devi.
