Sudhanshu Pandey left his followers surprised when he announced his exit from the television show Anupamaa produced by Rajan Shahi. Sudhanshu played the role of Vanraj Shah. There were reports that Sudhanshu left the show after the alleged rift with the Anupamaa’s lead Rupali Ganguly.
Now, Sudhanshu has denied these rumours at a recent award function event held in Mumbai. Talking to the media personnel, he said, “Nobody is responsible for anyone’s exit. It is my wish whether I want to do something or not. Agar mainey decide kiya ki main thoda move on karna chahta hun to mainey kiya.” ( I decided to move on a little, I did that). The 50-year-old actor further said that no one is responsible and can be responsible for his exit from the show. According to Sudhanshu, no one has the power to be responsible for firing an actor like him. Talking about Rupali, Sudhanshu said that he has never taken her name as she is his friend. The 50-year-old actor added that why will he something like this about her.
In 2022 also, there were reports of an alleged fight between Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly. According to the reports, the two actors were not on talking terms. However, later, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Sudhanshu denied such reports.
Now, when Sudhanshu left Anupamaa, a rumour claimed that he had got a big fee to join Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18. Sudhanshu denied this in an interview with Indianexpress.com, saying that it’s not true. The 2.0 actor said, “It’s fake news about me joining Bigg Boss 18. In any case, that show is not meant for an actor like me. God willing, one day I will host it for sure, but won’t be there as a participant.” This rumour particularly did rounds of social media because the actors who left Anupamaa often joined popular reality shows. These actors include Paras Kalnawat in Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 10 and Kedar Aashish in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
There are reports that actor Pankit Thakker will be reportedly roped in to play the new Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa.
