Taylor Swift's Singapore Eras Tour: Fearless Singer Gets Emotional, BLACKPINK's Lisa Spotted

Taylor Swift’s iconic ‘Eras Tour’ has been making waves globally. The singer is currently igniting waves of emotion on the stages of Singapore, captivating audiences with her unparalleled talent and electrifying performance. Amidst the excitement, a notable highlight emerged as BLACKPINK’s Lisa made a surprise appearance during the show.

During the concert, Taylor also opened up about her feelings as she embarked on her Singapore Tour. A video shot by a fan, featured the singer, where she was heard saying, “My mom actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mom and dad, and sister growing up in Singapore.”. 

Recollecting her childhood days, she also shared how her mom would drive her past their old house whenever she came on tour. On a closing note, she also expressed her love to fans and shared, “I love old and new friends the exact same amount. Whether you’ve been a fan for fifteen seconds or fifteen years, I’m just happy you wanted to spend your evening here with us.”

Taylor recently winded up one tour in Australia and shared a bundle of happy moments on her Instagram handle.

She also penned a heartwarming note that read, “Sydney, Sydney, Sydney, Sydney… what a whirlwind of endless magical moments with you. I’m so grateful that we got to be the first tour to play Accor Stadium 4 times. I’ll never forget singing with Sabrina, the chaotic acoustic mashups, and the crowds that were louder (singing AND screaming) than I thought humanly possible. I want to thank all of the Aussie fans for being so positive and passionate, so funny and wild and FUN. Love you forever .”

Taylor Swift might be known for entertaining the masses with her songs and concert performances. But the pop icon also loves her fans and shares a special connection with them. Her Eras Tour concerts have witnessed many rituals like friendship bracelet exchanges, surprise tracks, and mid-song chants. Similarly, the 22 hat honour is a custom where one young concert-goer is selected from the crowd by the singer’s team. The fan is then gifted the bowler hat by Swift herself. The ritual takes place when the pop queen performs her smash hit track 22.

Swift’s next five performances at the National Stadium in Singapore take place from March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, 2024, with Sabrina Carpenter as special guest.
