Thalapathy Vijay has been grabbing attention on social media for his recent post. He is busy filming his upcoming movie GOAT (Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Amid all this, one of his recent pictures went viral. In the photo, Thalapathy Vijay was seen standing with the priests of a Sai Baba temple. The actor-turned-politician’s father SA Chandrasekhar has Christian roots, while his mother Shoba is a Hindu. Thalapathy Vijay’s family is known to have secular ideologies; he never expressed his religious beliefs. In the picture that went viral, Thalapathy Vijay was seen wearing a sky-blue shirt paired with blue jeans. He was seen clean-shaved, said to be his look in The Greatest Of All Time. Despite having a busy schedule he didn’t miss the chance to visit the Sai Baba temple and click pictures with the priests.
As the picture created hype in social media, many media reports claimed that the photo is two months old. According to reports, the land on which the Sai Baba temple was built was owned by him. He built the temple to keep his mother’s wish in Korattur, Chennai. Reports also stated that the opening of the temple was done in February.
Thalapathy recently visited Kerala to shoot the sequel of GOAT. While visiting Kerala for the shoot, he was also seen interacting with his fans. As per a report by India.com, Thalapathy Vijay is presently making a trip to Russia to continue with the shooting.
When asked about her future plans in politics,Thalapathy Vijay had said in an interview: “According to me, politics is not just another job for me. It’s a sacred job. Not just political heights, I understand that I need to learn the length and breadth of politics from my predecessors. I am getting myself ready mentally. So, politics is not a hobby. It’s my deepest desire. I want to involve myself completely. Hence, I will complete one more film that I committed to and become a full-fledged politician. This is how I’d pay my debts to the people of Tamil Nadu.”
