Ever since the trailer of The Accidental Prime Minister released, it has been embroiled in a number of controversies. The film, starring Anupam Kher as former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, has stirred a political row over the alleged distortion of facts.

Now, Kher has alleged that his film's trailer seems to be missing from the top trends of YouTube. As per news agency IANS, if one searches for the trailer of The Accidental Prime Minister on the popular video-sharing website, the user ends up getting Kher's interviews regarding the film. However, if one types 'The Accidental Prime Minister official trailer,' the trailer will emerge right at the top.

Tweeting his concern for the same, Kher wrote, "Dear YouTube, I am getting messages and calls that in parts of our country if you type, trailer of 'The Accidental Prime Minister', it is either not appearing or at 50th position. We were trending at No. 1 yesterday. Please help." (sic)

Meanwhile, a case has been filed against Kher and others associated with the film in a Bihar court on Wednesday for "damaging the image of some top people."

Lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed the case in Muzaffarpur's Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court. The court has admitted the case and fixed January 8 to hear the case in Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate court.
