Actors Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi are all set to join forces for an upcoming film, helmed by a popular director. The actor seems to be on a streak as he is delivering one hit after another. Now, he is gearing up to star along with a National Award-winning actress and this news has left the fans excited as the stars will reunite again. Do you know what role the lead actor will play in this film? Previously, Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi collaborated in a Malayalam film titled 19(1)(a). Now, as per reports, the shoot of their upcoming film kickstarted on August 20. A few reports claim that the film might be helmed by National Award-winning director Pandiraj, who is known for his films like Pasanga, Kadaikutty Singam and Marina. The film will be backed by Sathya Jyothi Films. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
As per reports, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to play the role of a Parotta Master. He is currently undergoing training for his role in the film. While these claims are not confirmed, sources close to the production have revealed that his role might be an interesting one. Nithya Menen has expressed her excitement and happiness regarding her upcoming project.
Reportedly, she has claimed that she and Vijay Sethupathi could not have found a better and unique script than this one. She has also mentioned that the film belongs to a different genre and has pushed her out of her comfort zone by breaking boundaries.
Nithya Menen has other films in the pipeline which include Kadhalikka Neramillai and Dear Exes. Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Maharaja. Currently, he has Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 2 in his kitty. Along with this, he has a comedy-drama titled Ace, a silent film by Gandhi Talks and Ram Charan’s upcoming Telugu film tentatively named RC 16, in the pipeline.
