Shraddha Kapoor recently attended an event where she had an intriguing conversation with the media about her films, industry and co-stars. The actress who has earlier shared the screen space with actors like Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor, at the event, shared how she would have acted if dated men like her co-stars’ characters in her films.
First, Shraddha Kapoor spoke about her 2013 movie Aashiqui 2 wherein she played a successful musician who falls for an alcohol addict named Rahul Jaikar. At the event, she was asked about her reaction to dating a man like Rahul. Although Shraddha believes that Rahul wasn’t really threatened by his ladylove’s success, the actress said that she “would run in the other direction for her life.” She said, “I will run in the other direction for my life. I would be like, ‘Where is the exit? Bhaago!'”
Next, Shraddha Kapoor opened up about Arjun Kapoor’s character in the film Half Girlfriend. When asked about her opinion on being someone’s half-girlfriend just like her character Riya Somani in the 2017 film, the actress said, “I am that full ‘fairytale romance chahiye in life’, no Half Girlfriend business for me!”
In the same conversation, Shraddha was also asked whether she would be scared of being a part of a joint family just like her character Tinni in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. In response, the actress said that she lives with her family and likes being around them. For her, it is a constant party when with the family at home.
Interestingly, Shraddha Kapoor recently confirmed her relationship in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. Speaking about her fondness for the fairytale aspects of love, the actress said that she doesn’t need anyone else as long as she is with her partner. “I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or traveling. I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together,” she said.
Last seen in Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor won hearts for her mysterious role in the film. It was a sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree, starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshkati Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee among others. Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik.
