Ajay Devgn recently took a trip down the memory lane revisit his 2000 Raju Chacha. The actor shared the screen space with his wife Kajol for the same. Being all things emotional and nostalgic, Ajay penned a heartwarming note expressing gratitude for the film. He also added that how Kajol has been a steadfast partner and support to him.
Ajay Devgn penned a long note on Instagram that read, “Reflecting on 23 years of #RajuChacha, a film that holds my heart for many reasons. Anil’s directorial debut paved the way for me to embody Raju, a man deeply rooted in emotion, despite walking on the wrong side of the law. This movie gave me the opportunity to work with kids for the first time, who made things so much more fun on set, and to share the screen with Rishi Ji for the very first time, a memory I’ll always hold close to my heart.”
On a closing note he wrote, “And amidst it all, @kajol stood as my steadfast partner, on and off screen, offering unwavering support. As I look back, I can only feel gratitude for having been a part of this film!”
Fans too flooded the comments section. Reminiscing Raju Chacha memories, one of the comments read, “Beautiful memories for 90’s gen Ajay Sir you are my favourite since my childhood.” Another one wrote, “One of my all time favourites.” Another one reacted, “much love Raju ChaCha.”
Meanwhile on the work front, Ajay Devgn is currently shooting for the highly anticipated Singham 3. Singham 3 is expected to be a starry ride at the cinemas. The film not only brings back Ajay Devgn as Singham but it also marks the return of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and will feature the first lady Singham in the form of Deepika Padukone. The film also introduces Tiger Shroff into the cop universe.
It is rumoured that Arjun Kapoor could be playing the villain in the film but Rohit is yet to react to the claims. Singham 3 aka Singham Again is slated to release on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
