Fardeen Khan is gearing up for a remarkable comeback with a flurry of projects. Reports suggest that the actor will star in Mudassar Aziz’s eagerly awaited film, Khel Khel Mein, alongside Akshay Kumar. This exciting collaboration marks the reunion of both actors after a hiatus of 16 years, with their last joint venture being the comedy-drama Heyy Babyy. According to the latest reports, the project is centered around long-time friends who gather for dinner.
A source close to Pinkvilla revealed, “It’s an ensemble-cast project centered around long-time friends who gather for dinner and decide to play a game that unveils their secrets, resulting in hilarious chaos. Fardeen portrays one of Akshay’s friends in this film and is thrilled to explore comedy on screen again after a 13-year hiatus. This collaboration also marks an exciting reunion for Mudassar Aziz, who teams up with Fardeen again after their first collaboration, Dulha Mil Gaya.”
Meanwhile, while speaking to Pinkvilla, Bhushan Kumar was questioned about T-Series’ lineup for the next 12 months. In response, the producer revealed, “See there are many, many I can’t tell. I mean Bhool Bhulaiyaa is there for sure which is obviously going and then we have Khel Khel Mein with Akshay Kumar Sir which is going next month and many more films are there.”
Actresses Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor are rumoured to be playing the leading ladies in this Bhushan Kumar and Ashwin Varde production. However, their casting is yet to be officially confirmed. The speculations about their involvement have only increased the excitement surrounding the project. The film is already in its pre-production stage, with the filming scheduled to start next month in the United Kingdom.
For those unaware, Mudassar Aziz and Fardeen Khan had previously collaborated on the film Dulha Mil Gaya. The film boasted a star-studded cast that included Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role, along with Sushmita Sen, Mohit Chadda, and Ishita Sharma.
On the professional front, apart from Khel Khel Mein, Fardeen Khan will also be seen in Kookie Gulati’s crime thriller Visfot alongside Riddhi Dogra and Riteish Deshmukh. He is also set to star in Tarun Mansukhani’s comedy-drama Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and John Abraham.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar is all set to grace the screen in Tinu Suresh Desai’s biography drama Mission Raniganj alongside Parineeti Chopra and Rajesh Sharma.
