Telugu Actor Chandra Mohan Passes Away At 82.

Veteran Telugu actor and comedian Mallampalli Chandra Mohan passed away today. He was 82 years old. He breathed his last at 9.45 am today in a private hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment for heart related diseases. He passed away due to cardiac arrest. The death news came as a rude shock for the entire Telugu film fraternity.

Earlier in the day, Jr NTR reacted to Chandra Mohan’s death. Taking to his X handle he wrote, “It is very sad to see the untimely death of Chandramohan Garu, who has earned special recognition for himself by playing different roles in films for many decades. My deepest condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace (sic).”

Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife and 2 daughters. He is the cousin of veteran filmmaker K Vishwanath. Chandramohan’s last rites will be performed on Monday i.e. 13th November.

Chandra Mohan was a former Indian actor, who earned widespread recognition and fame for his work in Telugu films. He had also received Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. He received critical acclaim for his performance in box office hit films like ‘Rangula Ratnam’. He made his Tamil film debut with ‘Naalai Namadhe’ with MGR.
