Inside Rajinikanth's Diwali Celebration With Daughter Aishwaryaa

Rajinikanth, the legendary actor, celebrated Diwali in a traditional and close-knit affair with his family in Chennai. His daughter, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, shared candid images of the festivities on her Instagram, showcasing the superstar bonding with his grandsons Yatra, Linga, and Ved. The family, along with other relatives, gathered at Rajinikanth’s residence, dressed in traditional attire and performed rituals.

Along with the pictures, she wrote: “My Deepavali…hope you all had a blessed one ! about yesterday" In addition to Rajnikanth’s grandkids, other family members gathered at the actor’s Poes Garden residence in Chennai to celebrate the festival of lights. Most of them were seen dressed in traditional attire for the occasion. The youngsters in the family were seen seeking their elders’ blessing and performing other rituals.

Many fans reacted to the post, wishing the family an auspicious occasion. One user said, “Let this family be happy for ever," while another person said, “Beautiful snaps…Diwali wishes to Thalaivar & family."

On the festival of Diwali, Rajinikanth met with his followers gathered outside his Chennai residence. He waved at his fans and looked festive in a classic white kurta.

Meanwhile, the teaser for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Lal Salaam was released on Diwali. The film, directed by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth with music by A.R. Rahman, is set to be released worldwide in various languages on Pongal 2024.

The teaser for Lal Salaam suggests that the story is about two cricketers, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, who hail from different religious families and become adversaries. Their battle takes place on the cricket pitch in an India vs Pakistan match. Rajinikanth is seen as Moideen Bhai, fighting goons. He puts forward the message of not mixing religion with sports. Lyca Productions’ Lal Salaam stars Rajinikanth along with Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Senthil, Jeevitha, Nirosha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai.

Rajinikanth was most recently seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer. As per reports, the actor is now filming Thalaivar 170 for director TJ Gnanavel. After finishing Thalaivar 170, Rajinikanth is expected to start filming Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film.
