Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was recently made available for streaming on Prime Video, after a successful run at the box office. The filmmaker on Saturday took to his Instagram account to share a video of his kids Yash and Roohi finally watching the film. The adorable kids waved to the camera and Yash excitedly said, “We are watching Dada’s new movie.” Karan had said in an earlier interview that the kids were not too aware of his profession and had outrightly refused to watch Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Karan captioned the post, “Have you watched it yet???,” as he shared a video of the kids watching the Tum Kya Mile song sequence. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is headlined by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, who play Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee respectively. In trying to reunite their grandparents who are estranged lovers, Rocky and Rani themselves fall in love.

The film was loved by fans for its stellar ensemble cast, groovy soundtrack and over-the-top set design – all quintessential to a Karan Johar family entertainer. The OTT version of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also features an extended 10 minutes which were cut from the original version due to time constraints. This has increased the film’s run time to 2 hours and 58 minutes.
