Shilpa Shetty paid a visit to the Ganpati pandal at Lalbaugcha Raja to offer her prayers amid Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

It has become a tradition for most Bollywood celebrities to visit the famous Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. From Shah Rukh Khan to Vicky Kaushal, the pandal is popular for many celebrity sightings. Recently, Shilpa Shetty was seen visiting the pandal with her mother to offer prayers to the deity. Shilpa also video-called Raj Kundra for the darshan.

For this visit, Shilpa opted for a white saree adorned with multicoloured patterns. She paired the gorgeous saree with a red blouse with gold detailing. Shilpa completed her look with a fresh, white gajra and statement earrings. The actress walked barefoot in the bylanes of the market area amid light drizzle. Shilpa held her mother’s hand tightly to help her through the crowd. Shilpa’s mother, Sunanda Shetty looked beautiful in a red kurta set with her signature big, red bindi.

Shilpa facetimed her husband Raj Kundra so he could also offer his prayers to Ganpati. This moment was captured by the paparazzi and Raj’s face was seen by the media after a long time. Raj had earlier sworn to not let the media look at his face and has since appeared in bizarre masks for all his public appearances.

Shilpa, who is an ardent believer in Ganpati, was seen celebrating the visarjan earlier this week with Raj Kundra. Shilpa opted for a pink and yellow saree draped in traditional Maharashtrian style. She completed the look with yellow flowers in her hair and pink and yellow bangles. Her husband Raj Kundra was yet again seen in an LED mask that read Sukhee, the name of Shilpa’s latest release. He wore a pink kurta with white traditional pants and completed the look with an off-white hoodie.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa’s latest film, Sukhee released on Friday, September 22. Directed by Sonal Joshi, the film is about a 38-year-old Punjabi homemaker Sukhpreet Kalra aka Sukhee, who after being fed up with her routine and monotonous life decides to take a break from her homely duties and enjoy life on her own terms. The film also features Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Amith Sadh and Chaitanya Choudhry in important roles.
